IV. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- Learn the Max/MSP graphical music programming language.
- Learn some basic techniques of computer music generation,
processing, and interactive controls using Max and/or
MSP.
- Learn how to use several types of composition algorithms
and interactive control paradigms.
- Write an original piece of interactive
computer music using Max/MSP.

In addition to the lectures, there will be a required
weekly lab session. The lab schedule will be arranged during
the first class.
