Team A “Interactive Installation”

Dynamic, audience influenced installation, possible movement/dance element
Camera input (VNS, Jitter..)
Adaptive music system responsive to camera input and other factors

Team B “Generative Music”

Composition algorithms, real-time controller response
iPod Touch, iPhone; other parameter settings
user-configuration states
possibly embedded in a game or other environment

Team C “Controller Ensemble”

Variety of MIDI and other controllers.
Laptop ensemble
Live playing – traditional instruments with signal detection

Team D “Sensor Band”

Live ensemble using variety of sensors and non-traditional inputs.
Midi-controllers, iCube sensors, other hardware interfaces
Computer-Computer integration and data sharing


Sub-Projects

Conductor/Task Manager

Max or Max/C/Java program that gathers a variety of sensors and coordinates input and output delivery to a collection of programs. Manages temporal issues and data protocols.
