Electric LaTex is a festival of student electroacoustic music from the University of North Texas, Louisiana State University, University of Texas-Austin, Texas A&M University, and Rice University. The event is designed to provide an affordable opportunity for students to share their work and enjoy personal interactions. There are no fees associated with attending, and students from the host school provide a limited amount of free lodging. This year, the University of Texas-Austin Electronic Music Studios (UTEMS) is hosting the festival.
