UPDATE!!!
Because of the University of Texas vs. Kansas on November 12th, hotels are filling up fast, especially in the Downtown area. It appears that the Rodeway Inn that is adjacent to campus does not have any rooms available. So if you need any assistance finding lodging (hotel locations or students offering lodging), please contact Greg Cornelius as soon as possible.
One inexpensive alternative is the Red Roof Inn. There are two locations that are relatively close to the university that have some availability.
One is about 7 miles south of campus off Interstate 35:
