Setting Up the Studio to Use the PC
- Make sure that the ZSYS is setup properly. The Nuendo ADAT I/O needs to be connected to Card 1 of the 02R (5 to 1). And, Card 1 of the 02R needs to be connected to the Nuendo ADAT (1 to 5). Preset "00" can be loaded to make these connections.
- The Yamaha 02R should have its clock set to internal (either 44.1 KHz or 48 KHz). This is accomplished in page 1 of the Digital I/O section of the mixer. (Look under DISPLAY ACCESS on the mixing console).
- In the system tray, open the Hammerfall DSP utility. Make sure it is set to sync externally via ADAT I/O.
- Card 1 of O2R comes in via Tape inputs 1-8. To access these channels, it is easiest to hit the flip button, which swaps the pots functionality with the faders.
